My stay at Coed y Marchog was absolutely brilliant. The cabin exceeded all my expectations - it was clean, cosy, and much bigger than I anticipated. The attention to detail in the accommodation was exceptional, from the included firewood to the fully equipped kitchen. The luxurious and spacious shower was a treat after a long day of walking. The secluded woodland location provided the perfect tranquility I needed. The outdoor space was fantastic, especially for my dog, with clear boundaries and pathways for exploration. I loved every aspect of my stay and I am already planning to return in the winter to enjoy the wood burner.
The presence of flies near the entrance due to the bins was a minor inconvenience. The towels provided were a bit small, but at least they were provided.

I stayed at this amazing cabin for a few days and it exceeded my expectations. The cozy and peaceful atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cabin was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities including a toaster, oven, and kettle. The log burner added a special touch, providing a warm and inviting ambiance. The lack of WiFi was actually a blessing, allowing me to disconnect and enjoy the stunning views. The bathroom was clean and the luxurious shower was a treat. The owners, Austin and Sadie, were welcoming and delightful to chat with. a perfect stay with attention to detail and a homely feel.

Our stay at this woodland retreat was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. The lodge itself was spacious, clean, and filled with all the amenities we could have asked for. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved exploring the peaceful woods and even had a chance to play in a nearby stream. And let's not forget about the luxurious shower that made us feel pampered after a long day of hiking. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the open plan layout making it difficult for everyone to sleep in and the wet room shower causing some flooding, we couldn't help but be enchanted by the place. The friendly owners made us feel welcomed and the solitude of the woods provided the perfect escape from our busy lives. our experience at Coed Y Marchog Woodland Retreat was simply unforgettable. We will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to our friends and family.

Nestled in a serene woodland setting, this cozy retreat offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With no phone or internet access, you can truly unwind and disconnect. the cabin itself is clean and well-maintained, with a charming log burner to keep you warm and snug. the surrounding trails provide ample opportunities for walks and exploration, allowing you to reconnect with nature and create lasting memories with your loved ones.
The lack of a fly screen on the bifolding doors limits the ability to fully open them without the intrusion of insects.

Beautiful views and tranquil setting make for a peaceful escape. The lodge has everything you need and is well thought out, perfect for a young family. Lovely hosts make the stay even more enjoyable.
The wet room style shower was not ideal as the floor got drenched every time it was used, making it inconvenient and slippery. the presence of unsupervised dogs on the property was a bit unsettling and made us feel uncomfortable during our walks in the woods.
